Summer School Information
2019 Summer Health and PE:
 
REGISTRATION ENDS MAY 2, 2019. *HOWEVER, REGISTRATION FORM AND PAYMENT IN FULL MUST BE PROVIDED TO CHHS BY FEBRUARY 28, 2019 FOR GUARANTEED ELECTIVE PLACEMENT. 
 
Collins Hill classes will be May 28, 29, 30, 31, June 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 2019. The price is $250.00 per course (for Gwinnett County residents). 
 
Classes are offered to students who are taking these subjects for the first time only. Students are allowed only two absences during Summer School and must provide their own transprotation to and from classes each day. Time for lunch is provided between the morning and afternoon classes, but students will need to bring their own lunch each day. NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS. Students will receive .5 credit for each course successfully completed, passed, and paid in full. Registration forms may be picked up at the Collins Hill Community School Office during business hours.

Personal Fitness Class.........................7:00 - 11:00 AM 
Bring Your Own Lunch........................11:00 - 11:30 AM
Health Class..........................................11:30 - 3:30 PM 
 
 
Credit Recovery:  June 10 - 20, 2019
 
Available for students who have unsuccessfully completed a core subject course with a grade in the range of 60 - 69%. Registration is available online through MyPaymentsPlus or you may pick up a registration form from the Counseling, Student Service Office #1, #4, or the Community School Office during business hours. *Note: Students may register and attempt to recover credit for two classes during the summer sessions.
 
Courses Offered:
Language Arts: 1st and 2nd semester of 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade
Social Studies:  1st and 2nd semester of World History, US History, 
                            Political Systems, and Economics 
Science: 1st and 2nd semester of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and 
                            Environmental Science
Math: 1st and 2nd semester of Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Precal 
 
Date:    June 10 - 20, 2019  (Monday through Thursday)
Time:    AM Session:  8:30am to 11:30am
               PM Session:  12:30pm to 3:30pm    
Cost:    $100.00 per course per session (additional charge of $5.00 if paying with Visa or Mastercard) 
 
*REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER May 30, 2019...NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Cafeteria Refund Requests

Seniors requesting refunds from their school cafeteria accounts should fill out the refund request form on the school cafeteria web page and return it as instructed on the form.

 

Other Summer Information
Access to 2nd semester eClass course pages will end at the end of June. Students will continue to have access to the school landing page.
 
Students will have access to their new 1st semester eClass course pages the Friday before school begins.
 
Students will continue to have access to other resources, including their G Suite for education email and drive throughout the summer.
