Gateway Test

The Gateway is a county mandated test that must be passed to receive a diploma in Gwinnett County. It is a writing test in Social studies and Science. It is graded on knowledge of the subject and language arts writing skills. Gwinnett's Gateway tests measure how well students are learning the Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS). The Gateway tests are used in certain grades to determine whether or not students are prepared to go on to the next grade level. In addition, high school students must pass the high school Gateway to earn a diploma. 

2018 Science Gateway Review Sessions:

Wednesday 3/21 2:30-4:30 pm

Thursday 3/22 2:30-4:30 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm 

Friday 3/23 2:30-4:30 pm

Students may attend one or multiple sessions. The review sessions will cover relevant science content as well as writing strategies useful for the Gateway which will be administered on Monday, March 26th, 2018.

Participants will be provided pizza and water following each of the review sessions.
