Credit Recover Options for ALL Available Courses
If a student fails with 60-69 average, the student is given the option of doing additional course work and retaking the exam for a fee. If the student passes the culminating exam with a grade of 70% or higher, they are awarded credit for the failed course under a separate “Credit Recovery” course number on the transcript. If the student does not pass the exam, nothing is reflected on the transcript. The grade for this will be the exam grade.
Credit Recovery Options - Alg I and Biology
The Collins Hill High School Winter Credit Recovery Program is an opportunity for a student to earn credit for Algebra I CC (Semester 1) or Biology (Semester 1) if he/she was not academically successful in these courses.
• These credit recovery opportunities are designed to be on a flexible schedule. Students will access course content and practice Unit Assessments through the school eClass page (myeclassgcps.com).
• These credit Recovery courses are aligned to state standards. A student must demonstrate mastery of the standards before receiving a grade.
